Glen Iris Traffic Triangle

With their mentor, Hope Cooper, and help from the community, this Intern group worked to restore the Glen Iris Traffic Triangle at the intersection of 10th Ave. South and 8th Street South that was once a trolley turnaround. They created what the community wanted, a garden to be enjoyed by the community but not accessible to foot traffic, playing or loitering.  They created a garden with year-round interest    The interns wee Darwin Bell, Nancy Brown, Gigi De Corvin-Mc Graw, Gail McClurg, Mary Ellen Sness, Marlene Whikehart and Linda Xia.
